Welcome to the OSLUG Wiki!

Why Wiki? Because Wiki is a cool word! Oh, and because it gives you the opportunity to post all of the amazing knowledge in the world to the lug website that I couldn't even dream of. Go for it... you know you want to...

While you're here, check out some of the cool things we do.

Upcoming Events

I'd like to get this working with Google Calendar. If someone wants to help with this I'd be more than thrilled :).

Until then:

  • Beaver BarCamp 4 - October 17th - 10:00-19:00

What We Do

Hacking Socials

Most notably lately are our weekly HackingSocials where LUG members get together to hack on projects, work on homework, get Linux help, or just hang out. Most hacking socials involve pizza with the occasional guest speaker or project presentation by a LUG member.

We always need presenters to come and talk. It would be awesome is someone gave a lightening talk at every hacking social and we had real presenters every week or two. If you know anyone who would be willing to talk -- including yourself! -- on any day (not necessarily just during the hacking socials), e-mail the list, cooleys, etc. Request speaker topics or help maintain the wiki by posting willing speakers here.

Special Events

These include semiannual BarCamps, install feasts whenever something new and exciting comes out, occasional crazy things like the balloon drop or crop circle, and whatever else seems exciting. If you have any great ideas that seem LUG ish, hit the list!

LugTasks - Sign up to help with tasks, create a new task, etc.

Agendas - Past and upcoming meeting Agendas
